Trial and Error

Fri Jun 6, 2008, 7:01 PM
In the past month I've become less afraid to make mistakes as I learned that the best way to improve is through trial and error, not through ready book recipes.
With that in mind, my self confidence is rising once again. And my appreciation -of who I am, what I have gained so far and my skills- is finally settling down.

I'm also happy that I had the chance to meet some people that made me understand what it means to be "creative". Thanks to them I'm no longer obsessed with equipment quality and techniques. After all, it's only tools of the trade.. It's the artist's passion that matters, and through creativity this passion will have visible form and value. All you need is a pen and paper to start. Ironically, a paper is enough for some people to get going.

  • Mood: Delighted
  • Listening to: Jason Becker/Marty Friedman-Saturation point
  • Reading: 9na3at Althaqafah - dr. Tariq Alswidan
  • Watching: One Piece
  • Playing: Poker
  • Eating: cinnamon twist
  • Drinking: water

You know it's love when all you want is that person to be happy; even if you're not part of their happiness.
